A Big Thank You to Alice & Bob

Our advent calendar ''Quantum Science and Technology'' comes with something really cool thanks to the generosity of Alice & Bob!

Alice & Bob is a quantum computing company based in Paris and Boston, working on building a useful, fault-tolerant quantum computer. Thanks to their cat qubits, which are inherently protected against bit-flip errors, only phase flips remain to correct. This simplifies quantum error correction procedures and can reduce hardware requirements drastically when compared to other approaches.
